Plantings 2014-04-05

A trip to Aldi for unrelated business resulted in the purchase of some plants. Rescue, I'll call it, since they were in less than ideal condition (and dirty cheap, too)

A Rosa rugosa with supposedly white roses

A worse for wear olive tree, which is still losing
leaves, but seems determined to keep the blossom.
I gave it a slightly larger pot and a very sunny
and protected position.

Plus a couple of Datura? plants, that looked dead but in close inspection had a few buds forming, so I decided to rescue them. Now, the Aldi labeling leaves much to be desired. They were marked as "Datura", no more. I doubt it is Datura stramonium, which is an annual herb, perhaps they're Angel's Trumpet, Brugmansia somehting. We'll see if they're annual, or not. If they survive, that is. Too worse for wear for a picture at the moment. I placed them together in the above olive tree original pot, which is a decent size for now.

Also, the shed got somewhat tidied up:

Of two missing tools, one has already appeared. Still one to go.
